Philippine Vernacular Architecture
The proposed catholic church is designed from the methods of the Philippine Vernacular Architecture with its brick work feature, nipa hut structure with its classic elevated main area accessible by wooden stairs, and use of both brick and again, wooden materials. In an obvious note, the design is inspired by the unique roof structure of some tribal residentials in the Philippines via its architectural category.
